As you’ve probably noticed, we have drastically changed our website. We decided it was time to release some more details about the upcoming platform and give facilities a chance to really understand what we are building.
We believe the missing piece in today's museum mobile solutions is the ability for guests to connect with each other. We aren't just adding Facebook and Twitter integration, we are developing a social platform from the ground up.
A new app to download for every museum? A new interface that I have to learn? That's the reality museum guests are facing today. Our multi-facility approach offers the guests one app and one community.
The heart of the museum is the exhibits it displays. Exhibitly makes it easy for museums to manage their content through our web-based CMS and deliver the content to their guests through our mobile application..
We know the cost to enter the mobile universe and the tight budgets faced by museums around the globe. That's why we've decided to make participation FREE for everyone. Unlimited exhibits, unlimited content. Check mobile off of your to-do list!

Over the last month or so I’ve been mulling over changing the name of Exhibitly. When I first started putting together the company and determining the name I was drawn to the word exhibit. With good reason, exhibits are the heart of any museum or gallery.
Over the past few months we have been reaching out to institutions around the world to get feedback on the Exhibitly model. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback and our list of beta facilities continues to grow. Many of the people that we have spoken with have offered suggestions for features or ways that we could enhance our platform to better serve the greater cultural field. We love this kind of information and have decided to create an Advisory Board to help facilitate this type of communication.
We have added our start-up to the MuseumMobile wiki. Read more for the full profile.
